Started on Skid Row. Homeless, in active addiction. A scholarship at a treatment facility changed everything — and I never left.
Entered Evergreen Fund as a patient on scholarship. Went from Technician to Med Room Manager to Director of Operations to CTO — teaching myself to build software the whole way through. No CS degree. Just necessity and curiosity.
Left high school to work in the Art Department on HBO's Deadwood. Went on to CalArts. Spent years in Hollywood production — Teamsters Local 399 — working on The Matrix Resurrections, Grace & Frankie, and more. Then addiction took over.
Recovery gave me a second life and a problem I understood better than anyone: the behavioral health system is broken, and the people inside it deserve better tools. That became Beora Care.
Base Batches 002 alumnus. Built two official onchain agents for Coinbase deployed at live events. Founded Overdose LA for homeless outreach in LA. Building the future of recovery tech.
